• Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services
• Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly
• Prioritize invoices according to payment terms
• Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
• Maintain updated vendor files and file numbers in the ERP
• Maintain and update database of payments released to vendors
• Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
• Respond to all vendor inquiries
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Process electronic transfer payments such as NEFT, RTGS, wire transfer to relevant parties
• Print and distribute monthly financial reports
• Keep track and process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data from cash, cheques and credit cards
• Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
• Facilitate swift payment of invoices in organization by sending bill reminders and contacting customers with outstanding accounts
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
