Manage and Operate the IP & Packet Transmission network synchronization.
Handle DCN (Data Communication Network) provide connectivity for the IP/TDM Network Elements to the management server to perform configuration on Routers/ADMs.
Perform and supervise L1 activities for the transmission SDH network (2G BSCs ATERs, BSC GPRS, BSC O&M, SRAN, Macro sites, Micro sites, Nano sites, 3G Node-Bs, RNCs, IUCS links, IUR links, IUB links, Data Center links, IVR links and Orange Shops) on a 24x7 basis ensuring highest availability and quick problem resolution.
Support for site intervention teams all over the network through all the country areas.
Manage and Operate Synchronization equipments’ to provide high quality clock to all Orange Network NEs’ (Synchronization Backbone).
Respond to and resolve IP network issues within the timeframe of severity level agreements.
Responsible for applying preventive and corrective measures to ensure network health and stability.
Provide network related data to optimization and engineering teams as requested.
Perform Mobile and Fixed transmission activities for in-service TE Leased lines and external interconnections with other operators (Vodafone, Etisalat and WE) and troubleshoot/solve all related problems to maintain links availability KPIs.
Perform and supervise installation/acceptance/integration actions for new interconnections with external parties (Telecom Egypt and Other operators) & SDH equipment & new MBH IP transmission equipment.
Perform and supervise Spare Parts Management activities (testing, distribution, repair and return,…etc).
Audit physical transmission network regularly for the sake of optimization, assurance and implement customized network audits to maintain stable network coverage and end-user satisfaction.
