Brief
A Multinational Energy and Real Estate development fund is looking for a Chief Financial Operator.
On the subsidiary level our EPC arm specialses in engineering, executing and operating Solar PV installations- and providing ESCO services. We also provide project finance to varying degrees for different IPP/PPA renewable projects.
Our real estate development arm works closely with local and foreign stakeholders and partners in developing and managing a diverse portfolio of real estate assets.
Moreover, the fund looks to invest equity in innovative/progressive energy and technology companies with a mandate of participating in the development of a local supply chain.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
-Structuring prospective financing for current and future projects as needed
-Helping secure prospective project finance
-Analyzing and refining financial performance/efficiency
- Working with executive team on all bid tenders for government and private sector projects
-Overseeing deployment of resources on different projects and coordinating with executive team to refine project pipeline on this basis
-Carrying out the companies financial modeling on prospective projects
-Carrying out financial risk assessments on prospective projects
-Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO / board and executive management team
-Advising on long-term business and financial planning
-Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
-Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
-Reviewing all formal finance, HR and IT related procedures
- Monitoring and directing the implementation of strategic business plans
- Developing performance measures (KPI’S) and monitoring systems that support the company's strategic direction
