Job Title: Manager – Development Solutions
Location: KSA
Reporting to: Director | Development Solutions – this reporting line may be changed or varied according to future management requirements of the Company
Purpose
To have comprehensive knowledge of all project types within the Development Solutions department and the various service lines offered.
Responsible to manage multiple clients and build strong relationships in the industry. Ensure that the ongoing projects are handled effectively by using the appropriate resources and systems/processes to meet the agreed client objectives and revenue/profit targets.
Main responsibilities
Key Account Management/ Client Retention
Manage key client expectations, deal with any potential issues and ensure that have obtained all key business that is within our capability by identifying all key business opportunities within an account/group. Request the involvement of a senior person if a situation where the client has issues that cannot be dealt with at your level.
Ensure that projects stay on track and sticks to agreed deadlines. Keep within project budgets by effectively managing resources and people. Report back to the client any potential variation to plan (positive or negative) and maintain a good client relationship by explaining the required changes effectively.
Manage Projects
Build and manage a team to effectively meet the agreed client objective.
Ensure that the key deliverables are mapped out and overall project deadlines are agreed upon.
Monitor the progress of each project, ensure scope of work is being followed. Ensure correct folders are created and maintained for each respective project.
Ensure that all client information is updated, report back to the Client of any potential variation to the plan (positive or negative) and maintain a good client relationship by explaining the required changes effectively.
Monitor the work flow within the team and review the draft report as and when completed
Networking Develop a strong network of business professionals that can assist in developing new business and being able to effectively manage current projects.
Problem Solving, Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Constantly look for ways to improve both the effectiveness of the organisation, development of new business channels and opportunities and new strategic partnerships/relationships.
Explore, determine root cause and provide appropriate solutions for any technical, commercial or
Acquire new projects to the people related issues as they occur.
Business Development
Acquire new projects to the organisation by prospecting, qualifying needs, establishing relevance to business offering, writing proposals, negotiating and closing the deal.
Proposals
Prepare proposals and obtaining fee guidance from management.
Financials
Prepare and assess the relevant financial models to support the business proposition. Determine a variety of options and test the financial implications of each. Prepare financials that can be used to approach investors or finance providers for the project.
Research Papers and Publications
Recommend key subjects for research papers. Determine what information is required and where you will be able to find it.
Reporting
Feed back to the management team on an agreed set of parameters such as operational issues, compliance or variances to target, compliance to budget etc.
Stakeholder Management
Deal with the various stakeholders including clients, bankers, regulatory authorities to ensure that all willingly give their support and the information required to make the project a success.
Accounts Receivables
Ensure that cash flow is adequately maintained by achieving the desire debtor day’s targets as agreed with the executive team.
