Associate Manager (Development Solutions)

Saudi Arabia- Jeddah

Purpose

To have knowledge of all project types, such as Feasibility Studies, Strategic Studies and Highest & Best Use, etc. as well as Research papers and should be able to complete the above project types under minimal supervision.

Responsible to manage multiple projects that come into the department and ensure that the various project types are handled effectively by using the appropriate resources and systems/processes to meet the agreed client objectives.

Main Responsibilities: Key Elements/Tasks

· Assist in meeting and managing clients for the various ongoing projects in the department.

· Ensure (with the help of your Manager) that the client’s needs are fully understood, and that Colliers has the capability to deliver upon those needs and explain the methodology when required.

· Assess the data and analyse requirements of projects assigned to you so that this can be communicated to the assigned team members for the respective project type.

· Manage the team assigned to you effectively to meet the agreed client objective.

· Ensure that the key deliverables are mapped out and overall project deadlines are agreed upon.

· Monitor the progress of each assigned project, ensure scope of work is being followed. Ensure correct folders are created and maintained for each respective project.

· Ensure that all client information is updated, report back to the Client of any potential variation to the plan (positive or negative) and maintain a good client relationship by explaining the required changes effectively.

· Monitor the work flow within the team.

· Draft and or review reports for projects as and when required.

· Assist in proposal preparation and other pitch documents as and when required.

· Data Management: responsible to ensure that the internal database (cobweb) is organised and updated always.

· Other duties from time to time.

· Help develop most relevant topics, research, draft and submit the paper for review.

· Explore, determine root cause and provide appropriate solutions for any technical, commercial or people related issues as they occur.

· Assist in developing financial assumptions as and when required.

· Assist in populating, amending and developing Financial Models as and when required.

· Convert data into information.

· Feedback to the management team on an agreed set of parameters such as operational issues, compliance or variances to target, compliance to budget etc.

· Deal with the various stakeholders including clients, bankers, developers, regulatory authorities to ensure that all willingly give their support and the information required to make the project a success.

· Ensure that client receives the invoices as agreed in the proposal for each phase of projects that you are managing.

· To coordinate with other departments to obtain and provide data on markets.

· Promote the organisation at all relevant opportunities when meeting people through business of socially by promoting the business as a thought leader in the industry and positioned as consultancy of choice for our prospect/customer base.
